5-Day Kidepo Safari

You will be picked up by your guide at 07.00 AM after a sumptuous breakfast. Then comes the exciting road trip through the beautiful Ugandan countryside. You will have a stop-over for lunch in Gulu/Kitgum district. After lunch it will be about 3 more hours drive to your lodge for the night. You can then look forward to a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner.

Kidepo Valley National Park

Today is the day you have been waiting for. After an early breakfast, you will set off for the game drive. Kidepo Valley National Park is known for its excellent lion and elephant sightings. Herds of up 1,000 buffalo are often encountered. Cheetah are seen with increasing frequency, and it is home to many dry-country species, among them caracal, aardwolf, greater and lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck and Guenther's dik-dik. But it is not only the animals, the scenery alone is breathtaking, after the first game drive you will have lunch at the lodge. Around 3 pm you will continue the game drive. You will return to the lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Today you get to meet the famous Karamojong community that inhabits the Kidepo Valley National Park. After an early morning breakfast, 6:00 am, you will be offered packed lunch since you will spend enough time within the community. In the village you will have the opportunity to buy locally fabricated arts and crafts. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today you will return to Entebbe. You will have a brief stopover for lunch before proceeding to Entebbe.
