Overview
Murchison Falls is a spectacular natural landmark located in Uganda. It’s part of Murchison Falls National Park, which is one of the country’s largest and most popular national parks. The falls are where the Victoria Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating a dramatic cascade as the water plunges over a precipice.
The area around the falls is also known for its diverse wildlife. The park offers excellent opportunities for game viewing, including sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, and various species of antelope. Birdwatchers can enjoy observing a wide range of species, including the rare shoebill stork.

Tour Plan
Depart Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park through Nakasongola and have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for tracking of Rhinos and thereafter, proceed to Masindi. Lunch en-routine- MASINDI at any Hotel/Restaurant of choice.
After Lunch head for Paara through Kichumbanyobo Gate. Check in and evening at leisure:

On your second day, rest off the travel and tracking fatigue
After early (06:00am) morning breakfast, go for a game drive along the Buligi sector of the park. This Safari will reward you with game like Jackson’s Hartebeest, Elephant, Waterbuck, Lion, Hyena, Rothschild/Nubian Giraffe, Buffalo, Oribi, Warthog, and a variety of birds.

A launch cruise along the Nile is so rewarding for it reveals you to a rich check list of wild animals and Bird species. You will view game like sun busking Crocodiles, Schools of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, Waterbucks, and plenty of bird species. Common sightings include but not limited to: African Darter, Goliath Hero, African Jacana, Pied Kingfisher, Giant Egret, and African Fish Eagle.
Later in the evening, go for swimming (Optional)

After early morning breakfast, depart for Top of the Falls, view the Nile as it plunges through the Gorge to drop down 45metres down the bottom of the falls. Murchison Falls is the most powerful Falls in the world and one of the falls that attracted many6 of the international Explorers like Hemingway, Sir Samuel Baker, Church Hill to mention but a few.
After viewing the Falls, do the Nature rock walk that ushers you to different best views of the falls and vibrations in ground as the waters drop through the Gorge.

On your sixth day, rest off the activities’ fatigue to have enough energy for the next day’s travel back to Kampala.
